Jeweler Guide

This Guild Wars 2 crafting guide for Jeweler is made to help anyone who wants to be a master at this discipline.

The Jeweler will help you gear your character as you level. You should start early in-game to increase this discipline, since it will help you greatly to gear yourself and help you survive aswell.

A Jeweler, best discipline for all classes, is used to craft Jewelry and accessories. It may drain a lot of your money, but it will provide you with very good exotics and more end-game items.

Tip: You should always bring a mining pick along with you, to gather materials for Weaponsmith, Armorsmith and for Jeweler aswell.

Level 0-75

Go learn Jewel crafting discipline in any main cities.

You will need the following items:

Level 0-25

When you get the required materials, you can go refine them.

Next step will be to craft the following items:

Level 25-50

Now comes the First Discovery Phase. You must mix and match all your gems with the items you crafted earlier.

**Once you are done, you won’t be level 50, continue with regular crafting in order to reach lvl 50.

Craft the following items:

  • Combine 6 Settings + 6 Bands with 6 different Gems
  • Combine 6 Settings + 6 Hooks with 6 different Gems

    • Proceed with regular crafting with 6 Hooks and 6 different gems. **You may use any available gems in your bank, but you must keep atleast 1 of each gem for the next step!

Level 50-75

Now you must likely be level 50, you will need to craft the following items:

Next step will be the second Discovery Phase, mix and match all Filigrees and then do the Chains.

Discover the following items:

  • Combine 6 Filigrees with 6 different Gems
  • Combine 6 Settings + 6 Hooks + 6 different Filigree’s gems

Once you’re done with that, you must likely be level 75, you may proceed to Tier 2 (Level 75-150).

Level 75-150

You will need the following items:

Level 75-100

When you get the required materials, you can go refine them.

Craft the following items:

We will now do our first Discovery Phase to reach level 100 in crafting.

  • Combine 1 Setting + 1 Chain with 1 Gem

Level 100-125

Next step will be to craft the following items:

Next step will be the second Discovery Phase, mix and match all Filigrees and then do the Chains.

Discover the following items:

  • Combine 7 Settings + 7 Bands with 7 different Gems
  • Combine 7 Settings + 7 Hooks with 7 different Gems
  • Combine 4 Settings + 4 Chains with 4 different Gems

Level 125-150

Next step will be the third Discovery Phase, mix and match all jewelry.

  • Combine 7 Filigrees with 7 different Gems
  • Combine 2 Filigrees with 2 Gems on Regular crafting
  • Combine 7 Settings + 7 Hooks + 7 different Filigree’s gems
  • Combine 2 Settings + 2 Bands + 2 different Filigree’s gems

Once you’re done with that, you must likely be level 150, you may proceed to Tier 3 (Level 150-225).

Level 150-225

You will need the following items:

Level 150-175

When you get the required materials, you can go refine them.

Craft the following items:

  • Combine 1 Setting + 1 Chain with 1 Gem

Level 175-200

Next step will be to craft the following items:

Next step will be the second Discovery Phase, mix and match all Filigrees and then do the Chains.

Tips: Discover first your level 150 gems before the level 175 gems!

Discover the following items:

  • Combine 7 Settings + 7 Hooks with 7 different Gems
  • Combine 7 Settings + 7 Bands with 7 different Gems
  • Combine 4 Settings + 4 Chains with 4 different Gems

Level 200-225

Now you must likely be level 200, you will need to craft the following items:

Next step will be the third Discovery Phase, mix and match all jewelry.

  • Combine 7 Filigrees with 7 different Gems
  • Combine 2 Filigrees with 2 Gems on Regular crafting
  • Combine 7 Settings + 7 Hooks + 7 different Filigree’s gems
  • Combine 2 Settings + 2 Bands + 2 different Filigree’s gems

Once you’re done with that, you must likely be level 225, you may proceed to Tier 4 (Level 225-300).

Level 225-300

You will need the following items:

Level 225-250

When you get the required materials, you can go refine them.

Craft the following items:

We will now do our first Discovery Phase to reach level 175 in crafting.

  • Combine 1 Setting + 1 Chain with 1 Gem

Level 250-275

Next step will be to craft the following items:

Now comes the first Discovery Phase, mix and match all bands,hooks and settings with gems until you are level 275.

Tips: Discover first your level 225 gems before the level 250 gems!

Discover the following items:

  • Combine 7 Settings + 7 Hooks with 7 different Gems
  • Combine 7 Settings + 7 Bands with 7 different Gems
  • Combine 4 Settings + 4 Chains with 4 different Gems

Level 275-300

Next step will be the second Discovery Phase, mix and match all jewelry.

Discover the following items:

  • Combine 7 Filigrees with 7 different Gems
  • Combine 2 Filigrees with 2 Gems on Regular crafting
  • Combine 7 Settings + 7 Hooks + 7 different Filigree’s gems
  • Combine 2 Settings + 2 Bands + 2 different Filigree’s gems

Once you’re done with that, you must likely be level 300, you may proceed to Tier 5 (Level 300-375).

Level 300-375

You will need the following items:

Level 300-325

When you get the required materials, you can go refine them.

Craft the following items:

We will now do our first Discovery Phase to reach level 175 in crafting.

  • Combine 1 Setting + 1 Chain with 1 Gem

Level 325-350

Next step will be to craft the following items:

Now comes the second Discovery Phase, mix and match all bands,hooks and settings with gems until you are level 325.

Tips: Discover first your level 300 gems before the level 325 gems!

Discover the following items:

  • Combine 7 Settings + 7 Hooks with 7 different Gems
  • Combine 7 Settings + 7 Bands with 7 different Gems
  • Combine 4 Settings + 4 Chains with 4 different Gems

Level 350-375

Now you must likely be level 325, you will need to craft the following items:

Next step will be the third Discovery Phase, mix and match all jewelry.

Discover the following items:

  • Combine 7 Filigrees with 7 different Gems
  • Combine 2 Filigrees with 2 Gems on Regular crafting
  • Combine 7 Settings + 7 Hooks + 7 different Filigree’s gems
  • Combine 2 Settings + 2 Bands + 2 different Filigree’s gems

Once you’re done with that, you must likely be level 375, you may proceed to the next tier (Level 375-400).

Level 375-400

You are level 375 and you will need to buy recipes from your Jeweler NPC. You must buy 3 different recipes whichever you want (as to be Embellished Brillant), you may buy the less expensive one to craft, it doesn’t matter.

  • Combine 3 Filigrees + 3 Globs of Ectoplasm with 3×5 Gems A
  • Combine 3 Filigrees + 3 Globs of Ectoplasm with 3×5 Gems B
  • Combine 3 Filigrees + 3 Globs of Ectoplasm with 3×5 Gems C

Next step will be to craft the following items:

  • Combine 3 Settings + 3 Hooks with 3 Tier 5 Gems A
  • Combine 3 Settings + 3 Hooks with 3 Tier 5 Gems B
  • Combine 3 Settings + 3 Hooks with 3 Tier 5 Gems C
